HASKELL R. MATHENY, ASID, CAPS, NCIDQ CERTIFIED

Founder, Owner, and Principal Designer

Haskell R. Matheny is the driving force behind Haskell Interiors. Haskell has that special and rare combination of education, training, and raw talent that elevates Haskell Interiors to a level above the competition.  Haskell explains his design philosophy this way: “I am driven and motivated by architecture, I look at each space as a blank canvas and my goal is to make the space beautiful and visually interesting.  I believe the space itself should have its own character and evoke a feeling before the first piece of furniture is placed in to it.”  Haskell has a BA in Psychology from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN as well as a BS in Interior Design from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  With over 20 years as an interior designer, Haskell is an active member in a number of industry organizations and the recipient of countless design industry awards.

SHEILA STUBBS

Kitchen & Bath Design/Cabinetry Consultant

With an extensive design and project management background, Sheila has been a prominent member of the Haskell Interiors award winning design team for many years.  Specializing in custom high-end cabinetry, Sheila’s design talent is on display throughout the Haskell Interiors showroom, clients’ homes and offices, and has been featured in several publications.

Sheila’s design philosophy is “to incorporate the ability to listen to a client’s needs an ideas with the perspective of a professional designer, to bring all the elements together in a unique and customized finishd project that adds joy to the clients’ life and value to their home.”

 

CAD Specialist

  • Graduate of Cleveland State Community College with a certificate in Computer Aided Design with emphasis in Architecture and Mechanical Design
  • Over 20 years of computer aided design experience
  • Member NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association)
  • Successfully completed course work in kitchen and bath design by NKBA

 

 

LEZLI MORRIS

Interior Designer

Lezli’s design philosophy is “to use innovative and creative ways to achieve the fine balance between accomodating the clients’ wants and meeting their needs.”

When she isn’t designing beautiful spaces for Haskell Interiors, Lezli enjoys art, music, travel, dance, crossfit and spending time with her friends and family.

 

  • Graduate of University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a degree in Interior Design
  • 10 years experience as a commerical and residential Interior designer in the Chattanooga area
  • Trained in Auto CAD and ArchiCAD
  • Past President of the Student Chapter of CSI board member of Interior Design Society at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga
